WE CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY

When decorating a room and choosing window dressings to finish the look, child safety may not be the first thing on your mind. It has to be considered though, as there have been accidents in the past where children have been harmed by the cords used to operate blinds. The RM Blinds team takes child safety extremely seriously, and all our products reflect this.

HOW WE PROTECT CHILDREN

All of our blinds are supplied with child safety in mind. Your blind will have safety devices fitted as standard, all of which have been fully tested to ensure that they are in compliance with British safety standard EN13120.

Cord and chain lengths are restricted to a maximum of one metre to ensure that they are out of reach of small children. Please note that it is important that beds, cots and other items of furniture are moved out of the way of the operating cords so that they remain out of reach.
